How to Access and Exit the Centre

Access is fully automated and this page explains how to use it, how to exit and how to lock the gate

Automated Access

The Welsh Padel Centre is designed to be a fully automated facility. Access is by either an app or entering a PIN code via the keypad. Both of these methods release the gate lock.

Members will automatically be set-up to use both options. Visitors can request a temporary PIN code.

Using the PIN code

Members will be provided with a 6 digit pin code. To open the gate enter the 6 digit pin code and press #. The keypad will beep and the lock will release.

Using the Tuya App

Members are automatically set-up on the Tuya app. Please see Using and Installing the Tuya App.

Exiting when the gate is locked

To exit press the exit button which is under the stainless stell cover on the outside of the white electrical box. When you press this the magnetic lock will release. Please be aware that, once the button is released (i.e. no longer depressed) the maglock will re-engage and, if the gate is closed, will lock the gate.

In the event of a total power failure, there is battery back-up and the lock should still work. There are also instructions on how to exit the centre via the double maintenance gates in the clubhouse.

Locking the gate

To lock the gate all you have to do is close it (gently) and the magnetic lock should engage. So, just close the gate gently behind you and check the lock has engage.
